myPractice Web Calendar
Do you have a Mac or an iPhone, iPad or other Mobile device?
Do you use Google Calendar and wish that you could see your myPractice Appointments there?
If the answer is YES, then myPractice Web Calendar is about to make you very happy.
Wait... what is it?
Your appointment book on the web.
How does it work?
As of version 3.5 you will be able to upload your calendar to your myPractice Website Account.
You then take the web address of that calendar and subscribe to it from your mobile device or from Google Calendar.
More details please???
For starters, what is a myPractice Website Account?
This is a password protected account on our site where your Orders, Newsletter Subscription and Contact info is kept. If you have ever purchased anything via our website you will already have an account. You can login at https://www.mypractice.net.au/user
What if I don't know the myPractice Website Account details?
No problem, you can either contact us (support@mypractice.net.au) and we will look them up for you, or you can create a new account at https://www.mypractice.net.au/user/register
What do I do now I have the myPractice Website Account?
Within myPractice, go to 'Options' and then the 'Web Calendar' tab (it's right at the bottom)
Enter your myPractice Website Account Credentials and click the 'Test Credentials' button to make sure everything is hunky-dory.
You will then see the Web Calendar URL field get populated with the link to your calendar on the web.
Click the 'Copy to Clipboard' button because you are going to need this link...
Choose the appropriate link to the your application to find out how to configure it to view your Appointments...
Google Calendar
Outlook
iCal on a Mac
iPhone/iPad/iCloud
This seems like a lot of work...
The above is a 'once-off' - Once you have configured access to your calendar you simply click the export button or choose to upload when closing myPractice and this will update your other devices.
Can I use another calendar system other than the ones you have listed?
The format of the Calendar is compatible with all Calender applications that accept the iCal format (.ics files), so the answer is yes.
I have an Android device - how do I connect my Calendar?
Android devices require a Google Account - and use Google Calendar
Can I delete/add/change Appointments from these other devices?
No. The Calendar sync is one-way and readonly.
That sucks - Why can't I delete/add/change Appointments?
An appointment in myPractice is attached to a ClientID. Your mobile device or other Calendar device has no record of your Client List and therefore has no record of any ClientID's. That said, this is something we know our users would like to have and we will monitor this suggestion on our 'Uservoice' site
OK, so what's it going to cost me?
Nothing, Nada... $0.00... This is a FREE service we are providing to all our Licensed Customers.
What if I am on the 30 day Trial? Can I still use the Web Calendar?
Yes, absolutely. You can create your myPractice Website Account by registering at https://www.mypractice.net.au/user/register and start using it immediately.
